Mesotherapy / Injection Lipolysis

Mesotherapy (also called Injection Lipolysisis) a non-surgical injection therapy that reduces localised subcutaneous fat deposits and decreases subcutaneous adipocytes (fat cells). Many people have a healthy lifestyle and exercise regularly but have soft fat in areas that are impossible to target, ie; the neck area under the chin, inner thighs or love handles.

The injected active agent in Mesotherapy, is a cocktail of fat dissolving & anti-cellulite solutions- phosphatidylcholine (PPC), a lecithin product produced by soy beans. Phosphatidylcholine is found in every cell of the human body (cell membranes), and is produced by the body itself. This substance causes the fat cell walls to dissolve; the fat is then eliminated by the body's metabolic process. By reducing the number of fat cells in the area, the amount of fat stored in the area is reduced. PPC is a safe substance that has been used therapeutically for over 15 years, with more than 60,000 documented treatments.

According to current state of knowledge, fat cells that have once been dissolved do not return. This means that the fat deposits concerned are permanently reduced. Provided your weight remains unchanged, the results of the treatment should also remain constant.

Results are not immediate but are evident after approximately 3-7 days. Mesotherapy achieves a permanent reduction in fat deposits, especially in those places that cannot be specifically targeted by dieting or sport.

Lypolysis Therapy is indicated for the treatment of – Jowls, Double Chin, Cheek, Nasolabial Fold, Axillary (Armpit) Folds, Upper arms, Back Rolls, Iliac Crest (Hip), Love Handles, Upper and Lower Stomach, Buttocks, Inner and Outer Thighs, Above and Inner Knee, Male Gynaecomastia (Breasts), Pubic Region, Cellulite and treatment of Lipomas.Generally 2-6 treatments are necessary at weekly intervals in order to successfully complete the therapy. Over 80% of patients are extremely satisfied with the results after 2 to 3 treatments.

  3. Fucus helps the body get rid of retained fluids, stimulates the circulation and has a detoxifying and draining effect on the oedemas caused by cellulite.
  4. Ruscus helps address problems related to blood circulation.
  5. Glaucine stimulates lipolysis and inhibits the emergence of new fat cells, which visibly reduces the appearance of "orange-peel skin", restoring the skin's firmness.
  6. Organic silica hydrates, renews and regenerates cells and improves the synthesis of collagen.

Mesotherapy is a method of dissolving unwanted localized areas of fat that are not affected by diet or exercise.

Through the injection of Phosphatidylcholine (and other fat bursting/cellulite reduction ingredients) into the subcutaneous tissue. Local fat deposits are destroyed, allowing the fat that is being stored in the cell to get released.

PPC is a 'natural' product found in our body. It's main role is to help emulsify and breakdown fat and cholesterol, which is then naturally absorbed by the body. PPC is being used all over the world for its cholesterol lowering effect and its characteristic as a 'liver protective'. Injections are made into the disinfected treatment site subcutaneously with a fine needle. Multiple injections will be made to cover the treatment area, with a spacing of about 2-5 cm per injection. You will usually be lying down during this process, and will not need time to recover before driving home. We prepare to provide about 2 – 5 treatments (depending on client affordability) per area at intervals that are 1-2 weeks apart, although most patients require just 2 – 3 treatments. The number of treatments varies from person to person depending on the region and the size of the area.

It is very important to be hydrated prior to treatment and to drink plenty of fluids post treatment. The treated area must be massaged every night for a period of 2 weeks.
